West Brunswick comeback throttles Laney; plus more Wednesday hoops

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wednesday is typically a slow night for high school basketball around here, but that wasn’t the case on this Wednesday for a handful of local teams. The West Brunswick boys basketball team had to win on Wednesday to stay in a second place tie in the Mideastern Conference with Hoggard. The Trojans won on Wednesday, but just barely.
