WPD investigates Saturday morning shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating after a shooting was reported at 1002 Chestnut Street shortly after 9:30 a.m.

WPD says witnesses saw two men shooting at each other and then ran off.

Police say the suspects were two short black males wearing black hoodies under 5’5”.

Minor damages were reported to a nearby building, otherwise no injuries.
