Basketball state playoffs set to begin Tuesday; pairings now official

CHAPEL HILL, NC (WWAY) — The NCHSAA basketball playoffs begin Tuesday.

The winner of each of the four sectionals will play at the highest seed remaining. The two winners of each bracket half will end up playing each other in the regional championship in Fayetteville. Only one game will be played in Fayetteville for the teams that get that far as opposed to two the previous few years.
