Brunswick Co. Sheriff’s Office warning businesses about recent break-ins

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are advising businesses from the Bolivia area to be aware.

According to a post on the Sheriff’s Facebook Page, from Bolivia down Highway 17 to the state line, there have been several break-ins and attempted break-ins to businesses along that area.

Detectives are asking to ensure that any security equipment such as alarm systems or cameras are working properly.

The post said some of these business break-ins and attempted break-ins have resulted in security equipment being tampered with or disengaged.
