Debris studied for possible link to missing Flight 370
Debris found along the coast of Mozambique is being studied for a possible connection to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight that disappeared two years ago, Australian officials have confirmed to ABC News.
The piece could be from an aircraft, according to the Australian Joint Agency Coordination Center, which was created to coordinate search and recovery operations for Flight 370 after it went missing March 8, 2014, en route from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Beijing with 239 people on board.
Officials from Mozambique and Malaysia have joined the Australians in examining the piece of debris.
The two-year search has so far failed to locate the plane.
ABC News has not confirmed the piece of debris is from a missing aircraft.
