‘Empress of Soul’ Gladys Knight to perform at CFCC

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – A seven-time Grammy winner is coming to Wilmington.

Today, Cape Fear Community College announced Gladys Knight will perform at the Humanities and Fine Arts Center.

Knight has recorded more than 38 albums, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been inducted into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame.

The concert is Saturday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets go on sale this Friday.
