‘Island Massage and Spa’ operating normally after car crashes into building late August

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — We checked in on one Carolina Beach business that was left to pick up the broken pieces after a car crashed into its building in late August. 

‘Island Massage and Spa’ is located off of N Lake Park Blvd. 

On August 27, at around 2 a.m., a Jeep crashed into the business owned by Katrina Snow. 

When WWAY spoke with Snow in August, she described the situation as a “nightmare.” 

Luckily no one was in the building at the time, resulting in no injuries. 

Since then, ‘Island Massage and Spa’ has reopened and is working on the remaining damage. 

Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
