Crews working on railroad crossings over next several weeks

(WWAY) — CSX Transportation has two work teams coming to New Hanover and Bladen Counties over the next few weeks to do work on several railroad crossings.

Multiple crossings will be getting both rail and new ties.

Each crossing will be closed for around three to four days.

Rail will be laid first and ties will go on about one to two weeks later.

The first team is a rail team slotted to work from Nov 6th to Nov 22nd, with the tie team slotted to work from Nov 13th to Dec 1st.

The crossings will be rough to driver across until the project is completed.
