City of Wilmington considering development proposal for former Galleria
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– Another proposal is in the works for what will occupy the space of the former Galleria Shopping Center on Wrightsville Avenue.
The most recent proposal comes from Norris and Tunstall, a developer based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The name of the proposed development would be “Haven at Galleria”.
According to the submitted plans, it would be a mixed-use development, comprised of at least two separate parcels. One at 6802 Wrightsville, and one at 6750 Wrightsville.
This is the fourth proposal the developer has submitted for the property this year.
The site has been vacant since 2015 when the former Galleria Shopping Center was torn down.
