Two charged for reportedly stealing steaks from Piggly Wiggly

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police charged two men for reportedly stealing steaks from a Piggly Wiggly.

Leland Police Detective’s have identified the suspects from the Piggly Wiggly larceny case from earlier this month.

The men have been identified as David Aaron Greenlee, 19, and Jessie Gene Buchanan, 36.

Greenlee was charged on March 9 and Buchanan was charged on March 14.  Both men are from the supply area.

The Leland Police were able to apprehend both suspects in this case due to the many tips that were provided by viewers and would like to thank each of them for their calls that aided our Detectives in this case.
