Man arrested for more than 30 home break-ins

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man investigators say is connected to more than two dozen home break-ins.

According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office detectives began to investigate home breaking and enterings off N. College Rd. in the Kings Grant and Springview Estate neighborhoods back in November. Detectives say they tracked the crimes down to Travis Hale Jr. earlier this month.

The Sheriff’s Office said Hale was arrested on March 11 and booked into the New Hanover County Detention Facility under a $300,000 secure bond. Hale has more 30 breaking and entering charges.
