Law enforcement looking for escaped inmate in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — North Carolina Department of Public Safety Officers are looking for an inmate that escaped Sunday night.

Officers say Terrance Allen, 47, was last seen on a work release assignment in Wilmington just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday.

Allen was an inmate at the New Hanover Correctional Center convicted as a habitual felon.
