Hundreds of bikes ride for Toys for Tots in Brunswick County
SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — Santa’s helpers took a ride through Brunswick County this weekend and they weren’t riding a sleigh.
A procession of nearly 200 bikes left Beach House Harley Davidson for a ride throughout the county.
The bikers had gathered there to support “Toys for Tots,” with enough toys donated to fill more than a dozen boxes.
Somer Milliken is an administrator for Beach House Harley.
She said it was incredible to see so many people take part in the event.
“To know that our biker community come together for this cause and to just give joy to the less fortunate children of this Christmas season is just awesome,” Milliken said. “And its just wonderful to see.”
