Encore’s Wilmington restaurant week starts Wednesday
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Encore’s Wilmington Restaurant Week kicks off tomorrow.
Restaurant week is eight days of culinary bliss from Italian to French, Latin American to Swiss, seafood to vegetarian, Southern low-country to Asian and beyond.
Wilmington Restaurant Week began in the fall of 2009, and since has grown biannually, happening every fall and spring during the down season of the restaurant industry.
All participants offer deals for the public to enjoy. Assistant manager of Elijah’s, Carl Edwards, said they will even be offering some new dishes this week.
“We like to participate in Restaurant Week just to have our chefs throw out some of their new dishes,” Edwards said. “It’s exciting for us. It’s exciting for them. It’s exciting for the community just to come enjoy some of our new creations.”
Encore’s Wilmington Restaurant Week Guide is on stands now, and lists every participant, their location and menu. It will be inserted into encore’s March 30 edition, which hits the stands Wednesday morning.
Visitors also can plan their culinary excursions by downloading the encoreGO app and clicking on Wilmington Restaurant Week to access every menu.
Wilmington’s Restaurant Week ends April 6.
