Father, daughter identified in Bladen deadly double shooting

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning shooting that left two people dead.

Bladen County 911 received a call about a disturbance with weapons in the 200 block of Governors Estate Drive, near Elizabethtown, just after 4:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Deputies responded to the scene and found one Hispanic male and one Hispanic female deceased. They have been identified as Enrique Sanchez Rodriguez Sr., 57, and Sandra Sanchez, 35. The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office says the two were father and daughter.

Investigators say this case is considered a domestic related incident.

No charges have been filed at this time, but the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office says this is still considered an open investigation.
