Wilmington Police investigating shooting near N. 6th St.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that injured a person on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Shortly before 5:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of N. 6th and Swann Streets for a Shot spotter notification.

When they arrived. they found a male victim suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported by EMS to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment.
