Additional Michael Kelly sexual abuse victims suing New Hanover County Board of Education

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Three more former Isaac Bear Early College High School students have come forward to sue the New Hanover County Board of Education.

Another lawsuit has been filed in the Superior Court of New Hanover County alleging injuries they suffered as a result of the sexual abuse of Michael Kelly.

The new victims were not involved in the first lawsuit which ended in a $5.75 million settlement.

No trial date has been set for this case.
