WWAY sends off Toys for Tots donations

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Toys for Tots came to WWAY on Friday to load up hundreds of toys you’ve donated for the last few weeks. 

Bikes, puzzles, Barbie dolls, and so much more, will go to children in need during the holiday season. 

United States Marine Christian Quintero said it meant a lot to him to be a part of this project because he once benefited from the program. 

“When I called my mother and told her I was doing this, she told me I better give Toys for Tots everything I have. Because if it weren’t for the program, I would not have received a Christmas,” Sgt. Christian Quintero said. 

Quintero said this is what the holidays are all about.
