One of South Carolina’s top basketball players transferring to Laney High
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — One of the best players in the Myrtle Beach area, perhaps the best, has decided to transfer to Laney High School for his senior year. Bryce Schneider announced his decision on Twitter. Schneider averaged 14 points a game for Myrtle Beach High School in his junior season. He goes from being one of the best high school basketball players in South Carolina to one of the best in North Carolina.
Bryce Schneider will play for head coach Nathan Faulk at Laney. Schneider cites the desire to play for coach Faulk as one of the main reasons he wants to be at Laney. Schneider made a verbal commitment to the Richmond Spiders a few months ago. He’s expected to sign with the Spiders in November.
Bryce Schneider is the younger brother of former WWAY Full Court Press analyst Kevin Schneider.
