Ocearch tags five tiger sharks off our coast during expedition


WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Ocearch completed their expedition Wednesday to research tiger sharks off our coast.

Scientists were able to tagged five tiger sharks during their expedition, including a 9-foot female tiger shark named “Carolina” and a seven-foot female tiger shark named “Orlando” in honor of the city.

Thursday, Carolina and Orlando continue to ping near Wrightsville Beach.
