Tiny Titans: Kid weightlifters bring home more national titles

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — About a year ago we introduced you to a team of Tiny Titans, competitive kid weightlifters from here in the Port City who are making a name for themselves on the national stage. 

This year they are back and better than ever.

Last weekend at the National Youth Championships the kids brought home seven medals compared to five last year. The four team members from the Wilmington Weightlifting Club won six bronze and one silver medal from the competition which was held in Austin, Texas.
