UNCW holds 2024 FAFSA Day

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW hosted its annual FAFSA day on Saturday.  

The event was held in Bear Hall, giving students and parents the chance to talk to financial aid experts. 

Filling out the FAFSA can be a complicated process—especially for first generation students—but Director of Scholarships and Financial Aid Frederick Holding said they are here to help.  

“We do understand that some families feel more comfortable when they have financial aid proffessionals avalible to assist them with the FAFSA,” Frederick said. “So, that’s the reason why FAFSA Day exists. So we invite families to come out, they can ask questions.”
