Boys and Girls Club to expand to Brunswick county

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern North Carolina is expanding services.

The organization is set to expand into Brunswick County. Programs will begin at Town Creek Middle School and Supply Elementary School in late February. The clubs will offer a number of benefits for their young members, including dedicated time to complete homework and on-site tutoring.

Chief Growth Officer Keith Williams said he is excited to extend their support to students and families in Brunswick County.

“We’re not just going to be a silo that’s going to open up at one end of the building, and well come in and run a program and you won’t see us again,” Williams said. “We want to be part of that community.”

Williams says that the boys and girls club will start programs at town creek middle and supply elementary before expanding across the county as needed.
