Wilmington police looking for suspects who robbed cab driver Sunday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating an armed robbery Sunday night.

According to New Hanover County dispatch it happened in the 4200 block Princess Place Drive just before 10:00 Sunday. Police said a yellow cab driver was in the area after a no-show, and was flagged down by two men who wanted to go to McDonald’s.  The suspects then robbed the driver and took cash, police said. The victim told officers one man had a revolver.

The only description provided to police was that one man was wearing a red jacket and one was wearing a black jacket. They left on foot.
