Controlled burn planned for Moores Creek National Battlefield

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A controlled burn will take place Wednesday at Moores Creek National Battlefield.

Crews will conduct the burn from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Residual smoke and small spot fires will continue into the afternoon and evening.
