SC man charged with child sex crimes in Columbus County

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s office says 68-year-old Andy Gene Strickland, from Lancaster, South Carolina, has been charged with three felony counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child.

The incidents are alleged to have happened in Cerro Gordo.

Strickland was arrested last week in South Carolina and transported to the Columbus County Detention Center Tuesday, February 20.

He is being held under a $1 million secured bond.
