Jacksonville Police: man shot in the jaw, flown to hospital
JACKSONVILLE, NC (WCTI) — Jacksonville Police responded to the 200 block of Zack Circle to reports of a man shot at around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Police arrived and found a man with a bullet wound in his jaw. The victim was identified as Dedrick Smith, 29.
Smith was taken to Onslow Memorial Hospital and then flown to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where he is currently being treated.
