Facebook, Instagram down due to Meta service outage

(WWAY) — If you tried to login to one of several social media app and were unable to, you are not alone.

Hundreds of thousands of users are reportedly unable to get into Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, or Threads.

Tuesday morning, people who were on Facebook at the time found themselves suddenly logged out of their accounts.

According to outage tracking site DownDetector, more than 540,000 people reported issues as of 10:32 a.m.

85,000 have reported issues with Instagram.

No word yet from Meta on the cause of the outage.
