Wilmington Police investigating pedestrian fatality

WILMINGON, NC (WWAY)– On Saturday at 5 p.m., the Wilmington Police Department released in a statement that WPD units responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian incident in the 100 block of South College Road around 4:30am.

Unfortunately, the pedestrian involved has succumbed to his injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation and no further information is available to be released at this time.
