Filming begins in Wilmington on BET original movie

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Work on a feature length film began in downtown Wilmington on Monday. 

Wilmington-based production company BR Films is behind the filming at the corner of 5th Ave and Walnut St.  

The production company said the filming is part of a BET+ original film that will be available on the streaming platform, and that filming will last roughly two weeks. No further information about the film is available at this time.
