WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Airfares have decreased nearly six percent over the last year at the Wilmington International Airport, according to a new report.

The report by Upgraded Points says America’s appetite for air travel has rebounded since COVID-era safety restrictions and protocols upended the industry.

From 2022 through 2023, ILM fares dropped 5.9 percent, equaling around $34.56 per ticket in savings.
