CFPUA planning sewer work in Castle Hayne

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – People who live in one Castle Hayne neighborhood may need to take a detour.

Starting at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will be conducting sewer work in the area of Bountiful Lane and Old Barn Circle.

During the work, a flagger will manage traffic with intermittent interruptions.  The CFPUA says a detour may occur, if necessary.

The CFPUA is installing message board today to alert residents in the area because of the limited access.  If you live west of the work zone, Rockhill Road may be an alternate route you can use.
