Tee-Time Cafe in Shallotte offering pre-paid meals for those in need

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — A restaurant is pioneering ways to pay it forward. 

Tee-Time Cafe in Shallotte, just off of Hwy. 17, is now offering pre-paid meals for those who need them. 

It’s an idea that other restaurants have seen success with in the past.  

Essentially anyone can pre-purchase a meal and that meal’s receipt will then be hung on a bulletin board. The board reads, “give a server the ticket and they will have the kitchen prepare your meal.” 

It’s entirely free for those who are hungry and need a warm meal.
