Dreamville Festival held in Raleigh over the weekend
Raleigh, NC (WWAY) — The annual Dreamville Festival was held at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh this past weekend.
Over 50,000 people were in attendance for the star-studded lineup that included big names such as 50 Cent, Nikki Minaj, SZA, Jeezy, and curator of the event J Cole.
J Cole grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He and his Dreamville team use the festival as an opportunity to shine light on the place that helped shape him into a successful and creative artist.
The First Dreamville Festival was in 2018. Since then, the festival has generated millions of dollars for the local economy and has put Raleigh on the map as the venue for one of the marquee music festivals each year.
