Homeowners hire experts to help save Echo Farms

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Homeowners in the Echo Farms community have hired some help to try to save their neighborhood.

Last week, neighbors started a GoFundMe to help save the golf course from being developed.

Resident John Hirchak said they have now hired representatives from Community Environmental Defense Services to look into all possible laws.

Hirchak also said they have been getting donations from all over the Cape Fear including Brunswick County.
