All but done: Fields leaving UNCW

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The UNC Wilmington men’s basketball team was counting on John Fields to finish out his collegiate career with the Seahawks this fall, but Fields has decided to not return to UNCW.

UNCW Sports Information Director Joe Browning told us today the paperwork is not complete, but it’s pretty much a done deal: Fields will not play for the Seahawks. Fields was the Hawks’ leading rebounder, leading shot blocker and the second leading scorer last season.
