MeMa’s Chick’n & Ribs coming to Porter’s Neck

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A new restaurant will soon be coming to the Porter’s Neck area. 

MeMa’s Chick’n & Ribs will soon occupy space at 8232 Market St., where J. Michael’s Philly Deli used to be.  

Myra and James McDuffie opened their first location in Burgaw back in 2017.  

Last year, they decided not to renew their lease at that location. Instead, they’re planning to open a new location in Porter’s Neck.  

The restaurant will be serving up classic southern food made with family recipes.  

The restaurant is named after Jame’s mother—Mary—who is affectionately known as “MeMa.”
