New details on Coastal Beverage Company warehouse fire in Pender County

PENDER COUNTY (WWAY) — Fire crews responded to a fire at a Coastal Beverage Company warehouse in Pender County on Saturday.

According to Pender County EMS and Fire, the call came in just after 3:30 pm. Crews from several agencies responded to a large structure fire at the warehouse on Corporate Drive off Highway 421. Smoke could be seen for miles as crews worked for several hours to contain the fire.

Officials added that no one was on the scene at the time of fire and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
