Wilmington Police investigating deadly motorcycle crash

WILMINGTON (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash.

According to WPD, officers responded to the intersection of South College Road and Wilshire Boulevard around 9:30 Sunday night. Upon arrival, emergency crews began performing life-saving measures but the motorcyclist — 19-year-old Austin Parker —died at the scene.

The road has since reopened.

The incident is currently under investigation by the WPD Traffic Unit.
