WPD working to identify robbery suspect

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — On Sunday, July 21st around 5 p.m. WPD units responded to Bottega at 723 N. 4th Street in reference to a business robbery. The suspect is described as a black male in his 30’s with a buzz cut, stocky/heavy set, wearing a gray shirt and jeans. The man took money from the cash register and also stole a cell phone. He fled the scene on foot and may be armed.
