Top 5 Summer Olympic Sports with the most attractive athletes, according to Americans
(WWAY) — As Paris prepares to host what could be the hottest Olympics yet, it seems the Games are already too hot to handle for some viewers – but not in the way you might think.
While climate experts warn of record-high heat levels, the athletes won’t be the only ones feeling the heat: a new survey on Olympic viewing habits found 1 in 10 viewers admit they’ll be tuning in to the Olympics solely for the eye candy.
Among the 1,000 Americans surveyed, 87% plan to watch the 2024 Summer Games, and 28% of them admit to watching specific sports for the attractive athletes. Men are more than twice as likely as women to tune in for this reason, at 39% versus 17%.

Unfortunately, the least attractive Summer Olympic sports, according to viewers, are weightlifting, wrestling, boxing, archery, and rugby. Not only did a majority of Americans say they prefer watching the Summer Olympics over the Winter Games, but 46% said they think the Summer Olympics also have better-looking athletes.
