Man sentenced to about 25 years for 2014 Ogden murder

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – A Wilmington man is going to prison after pleading guilty to second degree murder.

Demarius Kelly, 23, plead guilty in New Hanover County court on Thursday to the murder of Harry Eason.

Kelly shot and killed the 19-year-old on Alamosa Drive in March of 2014. Kelly left the scene but was arrested early the next morning.

This morning, a judge sentenced Kelly to between 292 and 363 months behind bars.
