Woman accused of stealing prescription pads

JACKSONVILLE, NC (AP) – An employee at a medical clinic in Jacksonville has been accused of stealing prescription pads and writing fake drug orders. The Daily News of Jacksonville reported that 32-year-old Jennifer Francis Noell is accused of stealing the pads and forging them for oxycodone.

Noell worked at Family Urgent Care in Jacksonville. She’s accused of trafficking opium, obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or forgery, larceny by employee and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance.

Warrants also accuse her of acquiring and obtaining oxycodone by using a stolen, forged prescription and possessing more than 28 grams of opium.

It was unclear Thursday if Noell has an attorney.
