Remembering fallen officers

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Local police departments and the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office will pause tonight to remember their fallen comrades.

The WPD is hosting an area-wide Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony at 7:30 p.m. It’s a time to remember officers killed in the line of duty.

Tonight’s ceremony also features the dedication of the newly constructed Law Enforcement Memorial.
