Legion Stadium pool closed indefinitely

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — On Wednesday, it was announced that the Legion Stadium pool had been temporarily closed due to mechanical issues.

On Thursday, the city of Wilmington announced that the Legion Stadium pool needs to be closed for the rest of the summer season.

All future programming, including the Pooch Plunge, will now take place at the Robert Strange Park pool on South 8th Street.
