Surf’s Up for a cause: Surf Dog Experience at Carolina Beach
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY)– The Surf Dog Experience made waves at Carolina Beach today, despite the rough waters.
This event allows dogs to hit the surf for a great cause, with all proceeds benefiting Freedom Bridge Animal Rescue.
Held from 2 PM to 5 PM, the event ensured safety and fun with only two dogs allowed in the water at a time, accompanied by a surfer or lifeguard.
It’s a unique opportunity for dogs to showcase their surfing skills while supporting animals in need.
For those eager to catch future events, Surf Dog Experience takes place twice a year—one week before Memorial Day and one week before Labor Day.
Their social media will have updates on upcoming events and more opportunities to get involved.
Stay tuned and don’t miss the chance to see your four-legged friends ride the waves!
