Blockade Runner Beach Resort announces plans for renovation and rebrand to Trailborn Surf & Sound

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) –“The Blockade Runner” has announced its plans of renovation and rebranding.

The new name for the resort will be “Trailborn Surf & Sound”. Named for the properties location between the sound on one side and the beach on the other.

Some of the renovations to the resort will include upgrades to the lobby and common areas, guestrooms and bathrooms, indoor and outdoor dining options, and meeting and event spaces.

Completion of the project will be in early 2025. And the resort will remain open during the renovations.
