WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) – The list of teams remaining in the hunt for a state title is starting to dwindle. We’ve posted the pairings for the third round of the high school basketball state playoffs below.

3rd round pairings for Friday night:

1-A boys West Columbus at James Kenan 7pm
2-A boys North Brunswick at Wilson Beddingfield 7pm
2-A boys Burlington Cummings at West Bladen 7pm
4-A boys Clayton at New Hanover 7pm

1-A girls East Columbus at Goldsboro 7pm
2-A girls Whiteville at Pittsboro Northwood 7pm
