Woman accused of robbing a convenience store

MAPLE HILL, NC (WWAY) — A woman is accused of robbing a Scotchman store in Maple Hill with a metal file. It happened around 4:00 a.m.

Pender county sheriff’s deputies say she took off with less than a hundred dollars, driving a black BMW.

Deputies arrested Amber Laticia James. She is in the Pender County jail under a $100,000 bond.
