Wilmington’s Stilman White to start Saturday against Duke
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Stilman White graduated from Hoggard High School in 2011. It took a bit longer than most college players, but White is about to play his final home game in Chapel Hill for the North Carolina Tar Heels. In fact Roy Williams on Thursday said Stilman White will be in the starting lineup on Saturday night against the Duke Blue Devils. “He’s been a great kid,” Roy Williams told reporters on Thursday. “It’s going to be hard for me. Stilman has been a very important part of the last 2-3 years in preparing our guys to get ready to play because that has been his role. His freshman year he was thrusted into having to be prepared and I still believe that had we been able to get to the Final Four that it would have been one of the greatest stories of all time. I really believe that, but we didn’t.”
Stilman White will get the start at the point guard position in Chapel Hill on Saturday for the UNC Tar Heels when they host the Duke Blue Devils.
